What is a Rider Assistant?

A Rider Assistant is an individual with caregiving experience who accompanies students who need extra support during their HopSkipDrive rides. You'll sit alongside the rider, providing comfort, behavioral support, and communication between the family, driver, and school. Your presence transforms a potentially stressful commute into a safe, reassuring experience. This is more than a job, it's a chance to be a trusted presence in a child's day, every single day.
